Description: 

This course provides instruction on the Part 180 re-qualification and maintenance requirements and what investigators should be looking for when they are doing a review of a cargo tank re-qualification and maintenance facility. The course will include registration requirements, testing equipment, records keeping, and inspection and testing procedures.

Prerequisites for Attendance: 
Successful completion of NAS Part A, NAS Part B, General Hazardous Materials, Cargo Tank Inspection, Investigative Safety Analysis and Enforcement Procedures-Investigation or successful completion of Safety Investigator Academy, Cargo Tank Inspection and Enforcement Procedures – Investigative. Must have current certification for:  Compliance Investigation, Level I Roadside Inspection and Cargo Tank Inspection.   NOTE:  This is an interactive course requiring students to have laptop with most current version of CAPRI, eFOTM and CaseRite. 
Objective: 
Upon successful completion of course, student will be able to successfully conduct and document a Cargo Tank Facility Review.
Post Requirements: 
Upon successful completion of course, student must be scheduled to complete 1-2 Cargo Tank Facility Reviews under guidance of HMPS or HMS.
