Description: 

Provides instruction in how to conduct a skill performance evaluation (SPE), required for an individual who does not meet FMCSA’s physical qualification standards because of limb loss or impairment and needs to obtain an SPE certificate to operate a commercial motor vehicle in interstate commerce.

Prerequisites for Attendance: 
Host agencies may provide students with or require them to bring an internet accessible laptop so they can access course materials and the final examination.
Objective: 
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be certified as an SPE Evaluator and permitted to conduct SPEs for individuals with limb loss or impairment who require an SPE certificate.
