    Description

    This course teaches federal personnel the basic knowledge, skills, practices, and procedures necessary to execute a safety inspection of a commercial motor vehicle successfully, with a focus on understanding and applying federal regulations.

    Objective

    Upon completion of this course, participants will know how to conduct a complete North American Standard Level I (vehicle) inspection in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and the North American Standard Inspection Procedure, incorporating knowledge obtained during the NAS-A course.
