    Description

    This course teaches federal personnel the basic knowledge, skills, practices, and procedures necessary for successfully executing a safety inspection of commercial motor vehicle operators, with a focus on understanding and applying federal regulations during the driver inspection.

    Objective

    Upon completion of this course, participants will know how to conduct a complete North American Standard Level III (driver) inspection in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and the North American Standard Inspection Procedures.

    Target Audience

    Safety investigators or inspectors employed by the federal government.
