FMCSA Inspector Challenge (FIC) Exam

Every year, FMCSA sends a competitor to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's North American Inspector Championships. The FIC Examination is part of the selection process to determine the inspector who will represent FMCSA that year. This multiple-choice exam tests knowledge of the FMCSR, HMR, CVSA inspection procedures, and the North American Standard (NAS) Out-of-Service Criteria. Duration: approx. 120 min.

Upon completion of this examination, participants will receive scores that help determine their overall standing in the FIC competition.
