CMV Criminal Interdiction for Law Enforcement (CMVCI-LE)

This course is designed for law enforcement officers responsible for conducting stops on commercial motor vehicles (CMVs). Participants will learn about CMVs and their operations, criminal interdiction focus areas including human trafficking and fraud, and the Rapid Assessment (RA) thought process and how to use it correctly.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able perform their job duties safely, interdict CMVs involved in ongoing criminal activity, and identify deviations from CMV industry norms using the RA thought process.

Local, state, and federal law enforcement officers as well as any enforcement safety personnel

Must be active in law enforcement.
Laptops or PCs should include the latest updates to the DOT/FMCSA or State software as appropriate. At a minimum, laptops or PCs should use Microsoft Windows with pop-up blockers turned off and only the necessary JavaScript components enabled.
