    Description

    This course highlights the current regulations and Field Office Training Manual (FOTM) procedures in teaching Household Goods (HHG) transportation and consumer protection. Participants will practice performing compliance reviews of HHG motor carriers and determining enforcement measures.

    Objective

    Upon completion of this course, participants will understand HHG transportation overall and in interstate commerce, how to conduct an HHG compliance review/enforcement, and the consumer protection regulations.

    Target Audience

    Federal and State Investigators with the authority to regulate or investigate HHG carriers and/or brokers

    Prerequisites for Attendance

    Must have general knowlege or experience in conducting investigations at the federal or state level
